Finance Accounting Associate Manager

**What you will be doing**:
You will provide support to Corporate Accounting team (Rest of Regions) to ensure the timeliness of month end closing and handle financial reporting to management for CIMA regions. Maintain accurate financial information for specific areas of the general ledger and account reconciliation. Main responsibilities include analysis and processing of transactions other monthly accounting close processes and Annual Audit. Improve the effectiveness of the accounting and closing processes.

**What you will do**:

- Month End and Year End Close Processes
- Manage the monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and reporting. Ensure the GL Ledger is closed.
- Prepare accounting journal entries for month end close.
- Verify accounts and reconcile and analyses entries, transactions, ledgers and reports.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
- Oversee all open items related to month end closing and account reconciliation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures including account analysis and reconciliation. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Interpret and analyses accounting data and financial reports and recommend action.
- Review Fixed Assets Clearing accounts and capitalize the assets in accordance to Fixed Assets policy and GAAP, including reviewing coding and capitalization appropriateness.
- Review and process Fixed Assets transactions in accordance to Fixed Assets policy, procedures and defined timelines.
- Maintain relationships with important partners at all levels to ensure all transactions are accounted for observing accounting policies
- Participate in process transformation and efficiencies to include identifying areas for streamlining and improvements

**What we are looking for**:
Mid senior level of working exprerience in general accounting focused with the following
- direct general ledger
- financial month end closing responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiar with GBS or SSC environment
- Focused on details
