**JOB SUMMARY**
- The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for the proper and profitable functioning mechanics of all phrases of the Food & Beverage operation of the outlet. To assist Restaurant & Bar Manager and fully in-charge of the restaurant and staff during of absent of manager.

**JOB SPECIFICATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Directly and without fail implement the training system establish by the Hotel.
- To extend a copy of Job Description and F&B Service Manual to new employee/ All new employees are properly informed of house rules and policies.
- To be fully familiar with the Hotel standard procedures.
- To train service staff of standard service procedures by seeing that they are adhered without deviation. Any deviation is to be corrected in the process of on-the-job training.
- To monitor that all employees are required to be punctual, well groomed and do not deviate from they’re prescribed uniform.
- To schedules the working hours and to assuring that staffing is adequate to provide excellent service and proper coverage at all times.
- To anticipates volume o business by keeping track of coming activities in the hotel and in the community i.e school holidays and festivals in order to cope with the necessary preparation.
- He is responsible for the appearance, orderliness and proper set-up of all station, bars and related areas
- To check on proper maintenance of all equipment located in the areas under his supervision and requests for repair when indicated. Soiled or damaged equipment in particularly chipped or cracked glasses is not into used.
- To be constantly on the alert for irregularities in the handling of monies by employees under his supervision.
- To have complete knowledge of Standard Food & beverage service and assures that they are adhered to all time.
- Although restaurants are his primary responsibilities, he may be called upon in cases of emergency to help out in other departments or to extend his supervision to other areas in the absence of other supervisor.
- To report any exceptional occurrences in the area to the Restaurant & Bar Manager with out delay.
- To charge corkage for all beverages brought in by guest for own consumption in the restaurant besides those supplied by the hotel.
- He is entrusted to carry out other F&B or hotel assignments as and when required.
- To check daily restaurant logs books and monitors the revenue.
- To attend briefing and meeting that require by Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Minimum diploma in Hotel Management.
- Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality industry.
- Ability to speak, read and understands English & Bahasa Malaysia. Others language will be added advantage.
- Able to plan and train staff under his supervision.
- Able to conduct daily briefing for staff.
- Able to work long hours and can work under pressure.
- Pleasant and friendly.
- Have knowledge on food & beverage (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) preparation.
- Able to lead and guide staff under his supervision to as a team.
- Able to handle and solve a complaint from guest

**Special Requirements**
- Know how to use a computer for the proper paper work preparation.
- Know how to read and prepare monthly P&L report statement.
- Creative and innovative during specials event organize by Hotel.
