Job Description for Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of property development projects. The individual in this role will be accountable for delivering projects within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
i. Collaborate with senior management to develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.

ii. Monitor and track project progress, and identify any issues or risks that may impact the successful completion of the project.

iii. Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, including communication plans, risk management plans, and quality control plans.

iv. Develop and maintain relationships with project consultants, government officials and contractors to ensure efficient implementation/execution of project.

v. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements and industry standards throughout project development.

vi. Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are within approved limits, and seeking approval for any changes.

vii. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management throughout project development.

viii. Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

ix. Lead and supervise project personnel to ensure they are equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills to execute their assigned tasks.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
i. A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as architecture, civil engineering, or business administration.

ii. Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in the property development industry.

iii. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

iv. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

v. Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.

vi. Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.

vii. Demonstrated understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing property development in Malaysia.

viii. Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD.

**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM9,400.00 per month
