**About the role**

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join the dynamic team at GF Technology Sdn Bhd. Based in our Bayan Lepas, Penang office, this full-time role is responsible for executing all purchasing activities to support the operations of our manufacturing and logistics divisions.

**What you'll be doing**
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, manage deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment actions to ensure stock availability
- Assist with data entry, ensuring the accuracy of supplier invoices, delivery orders and purchase order
- Follow up with supplier to ensure the timely delivery of ordered items.
- Support the implementation of purchasing policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement
- Other duties and assignments as instructed by superior from time to time

**What we're looking for**
- At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to work with figures and data with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office suite
- A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field would be an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,528.71 - RM3,697.83 per month
