Position Description

Essential Job Functions- Leads and coaches a team of accountants responsible for day-to-day accounting, including general ledger integrity and accuracy, and bank and G/L account reconciliations- Responsible for the execution of month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and audits- Responsible for the execution of month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including financial & statutory reporting, loan covenants reporting and audits- Preparation and management of group consolidation reporting- Work with Tax and Legal to ensure compliance of Vantage APAC’s companies in respective local jurisdictions

Duties- Manage various accounting functions for efficient processing and accurate financial reporting, including, but not limited to:
- Deliver consolidated financial reports and management accounts according to timeframes as decided by the Company- Financial reporting in accordance with relevant local and international accounting standards- Liaise with external advisors/auditors for audits, tax filings, registration, and other corporate matters- Account reconciliations and analysis- Implement best practices to manage Company’s financial and business risks, including, but not limited to:
- Develop, review and maintain Company’s accounting/financial policies and processes, to ensure consistency and compliance with statutory requirements and Company standards- Coordinate with other departments to develop and maintain financial operations workflows- Stay up to date on applicable regulations and policies relating to the ownership/investment structure, financials and tax aspects of the Company- Business partnering with other cross functional teams to identify drivers of financial performance and support business growth- Evaluate financial reporting systems and recommend, lead proposed improvement changes in processes- Participates in special projects including M&A and financing- Advise senior management on any critical trends in relation to the financial performance of the company- Reviews and approves accounting documents per the company’s workflows- Promote a strong culture of cooperation within the team- Train, oversee, coach, develop, provide assistance to and evaluate the performance of team members

Job Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and chartered accountant designation, high performing professional with Big 4 audit firms- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization- Knowledge of general APAC tax and experience in multi-currency and multiple company environments- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many simultaneous priorities from time to time- Demonstrated communication, leadership and organizational skills- Facility to “roll up one’s sleeves” and collaborate with process participants in solving issues- Skilled at using various ERP and with technology in general- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, preferred but not required- Data center, real estate, or construction industry experience, preferred but not required
