**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable **Hotel Accountant** to manage the financial operations of our hotel in Melaka Tengah. The role involves overseeing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and hotel policies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Handle day-to-day hotel accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
- Verify and record all financial transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Work closely with the Hotel Manager and department heads to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Manage supplier invoices, payments, and contract documentation.
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for financial data.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willing to be based in **Melaka Tengah**.
Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
