Mould Repairman

Precision tool handling (micrometers, calipers, gauges), Mould maintenance and repair, Machining operations (milling, turning, grinding, EDM), Mould polishing and surface finishing, Reading technical drawings/CAD, Troubleshooting mould defects, Knowledge of mould materials and components, Welding and brazing techniques (TIG/laser - if required), Attention to detail, Time management and prioritization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on moulds.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble mould components.
- Diagnose and repair mould defects, including wear, cracks, and parting line damage.
- Operate machining equipment such as milling machines, grinders, lathes, and EDM machines.
- Use precision measurement tools to check mould component tolerances.
- Polish mould surfaces to meet product finish requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mould designs.
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs, maintenance schedules, and tooling reports.
- Collaborate with production and tooling engineers to improve mould performance.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in the maintenance workspace.

**Job Requirements**:

- 1 - 3 Years of Experience in this field
- Proven experience in mould repair, maintenance, or tooling (plastic or metal moulds).
- Knowledge of machining processes and tooling materials.
- Ability to operate machining and polishing tools.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments ( micrometers, callipers, dial indicators).
- Ability to read technical drawings and mould schematics.
- Welding skills (TIG or laser) are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
- Able to communicate fluently in **Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin**:

- Must have **own transportation** and a valid driving license
