**Position Title: Account Assistant Manager**

**Industry: Retail**

**Location: Kepong, Kuala Lumpur**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure payments are completed accurately in a timely manner
- Solve discrepancy between purchase order and invoice
- Monitor backlog invoices and give direction to teams to drive down the backlog number accordingly
- Review reports and vendor reconciliation and act on overdue open items
- Develop action plans to help the team to achieve KPI and responsible for ensuring KPIs for Account receivable and payable are met, these include timely processing and payment of invoices
- Establish and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Internal Control Procedures to improve Finance and Reporting Systems
- Timely Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns submission and compliance at all times
- Responsible for Tax Planning & Compliance
- Review statutory audit reports, inventory management, and Debtors Ageing Report
- Attend and liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Legal, Bankers, etc
- Lead, coach, and manage team of finance effectively
- Perform other ad hoc assignments and tasks as and when requested by management
- Full Set Account Required:

- Income Statement (Profit and Loss Statement)
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Statement of Changes in Equity
- Trial Balance
- General Ledger
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Aging Reports, Bank Reconciliation Statements
- Inventory Report (if applicable)
- Taxation
- Payroll

**Qualifications & Experiences Needed**
- Degree in Accounting and possess professional qualifications ie ACCA/CPA/MIA
- At least 5 years working experience in accounting, preferably with managerial experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, as well as effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate and steer towards the organization mission and goals
- Preferred language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin will be an advantage
- Possess own transport

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounts Assistant: 3 years (preferred)
