Payroll Assistant

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of payroll processing and ensure all statutory submissions and payments are made in a timely and accurate manner for the assigned accounts. You will be the primary point of contact to manage client’s payroll requirements and liaise with the related authorities for statutory payment matters.
**Responsibilities**:
- Input data into payroll system and maintenance of newly joined and resignees for payroll information.
- Perform end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll calculation, overtime, allowances, commission, sales incentives, execution and reconciliation.
- Monitor and execute payroll activities according to payroll processing schedule.
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately.
- Be the primary point of contact for client queries regarding payroll.
- Administer and ensure proper documentation of payroll and statutory payment reports for internal control and audit purposes.
- Manage and handle all enquiries from clients, auditors and government authorities for matters related to payroll and statutory payment.
- Develop and maintain client relationship, manage and resolve the escalated issues to meet the clients’ needs.
- Collaborate with cross functional departments, review the process flows and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
- Monitor developments in legislation and keep updated on potential changes affecting clients and payroll processes.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources Management/ Accountancy or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing both Malaysia and Singapore Payroll processing will be advantageous
- Familiar with Malaysia and Singapore employment legislation an advantage
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel is necessary
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Meticulous, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Structured, proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and achieve results under pressure
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
