**We are looking for**
A hands-on and dependable **Accounts Assistant** to support our Finance & Accounts team. This role is suited for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience, who can confidently handle day-to-day accounting tasks, assist in maintaining a full set of accounts, and support month-end closings and audit preparations.

You will work closely with senior accounting staff and the Finance Manager, and must be able to manage your responsibilities independently with a high level of accuracy.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Assist in maintaining the **full set of accounts** (AP, AR, GL)
- Handle **daily data entry**, bank reconciliations, and general journal postings
- Support **month-end closings**, including preparation of schedules and reports
- Update and monitor **inventory and stock records**:

- Prepare and organize documentation for **audit and tax submissions**:

- Ensure timely and accurate entries using **accounting software** (SQL / UBS)
- Assist in tracking **cash flow and expense monitoring**:

- **Collaborate with the Accounts Executive and Finance Manager** to ensure smooth financial operations
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-up

**What We’re Looking For**
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- **At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience**:

- Familiar with **SQL or UBS** accounting software
- Good working knowledge of **Microsoft Excel**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with good communication and coordination skills

We know not everyone works best within a strict 9-to-6. That’s why, while this role is listed as Full-Time, we’re also open to discussing Part-Time or Freelance setups that make sense for both sides.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:
