**Job Overview**: The Storekeeper is responsible for maintaining and managing inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and handling of goods, and overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the store or warehouse. This role includes organizing stock, handling deliveries, ensuring inventory accuracy, and assisting with the procurement process. **Key Responsibilities**: **1)Inventory Management**: - Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure inventory is sufficient. - Track and maintain an accurate record of goods received, stored, and issued. - Conduct regular stock counts to verify inventory accuracy. - Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the management. **2)Receiving and Storing Goods**: - Receive and inspect shipments, ensuring the quality and quantity match order specifications. - Organize and store goods in designated areas, ensuring they are safely and properly stored. - Label goods with appropriate storage information and expiration dates (if applicable). **3)Stock Control**: - Maintain a tidy and organized storage area for easy access and retrieval. - Rotate stock to ensure that older inventory is used first, adhering to "First In, First Out" (FIFO) principles. - Track items that are low in stock and notify management for reordering. **4)Inventory Audits**: - Conduct periodic physical counts and reconciliation of inventory with records. - Assist in preparing inventory reports for management. **5)Handling and Issuing Goods**: - Prepare goods for distribution, ensuring the correct items and quantities are issued. - Issue goods to various departments or teams in a timely and organized manner. - Maintain records of all items issued and returned. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month Schedule: - Early shift - Fixed shift - Monday to Friday - On call - Weekend jobs Supplemental Pay: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Subang Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - Storekeeping: 1 year (required) **Language**: - Mandarin (preferred) - Bahasa (required) Willingness to travel: - 75% (preferred)
