Our **Marketing Team** is looking for a **Digital Marketing Intern**. Based in Ipoh, this person will work closely with the team to support and execute the E-commerce and digital marketing initiatives for PTT Outdoor. As an intern, you can expect true, hands-on experience and insight into the E-commerce industry through working with the Marketing Team and cross-functionality in our unique start-up environment.

**AS AN E-COMMERCE DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN, YOU WILL**:

- Work with our Digital Marketing team to refine social media strategy and best practices
- Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging
- Create content and images for all social media sites we manage
- Assist in website audits to monitor Search Engine Optimization (SEO) implementation, content consistency and brand standards.
- Keep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
- Ensure proper messaging is being executed online
- Assist with copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Advertising, or similar field
- Fluent in English and BM

**Characteristics**:

- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, written & verbal
- Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or Offeo experience a plus

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: RM200.00 - RM500.00 per month
