Quality Control Executive

**Key Job Responsibilities Quality Control**
- Evaluating the company’s product specifications and examining them with customer requirements.
- Promoting continuous improvement and quality assurance programs throughout the organization.
- Ensure the incoming/in process/outgoing materials/products meet the quality requirements and inspected within the specific timeframe.
- Understanding, and executing the tests and procedures.
- Participate with technical team in carrying out checks and tests.
- Conduct sampling, measurement and liaise with external labs in routine quality testing and process validation of materials, processes, packaging, sterilization, stability (aging) test.
- Ensuring external labs perform assigned tests according to specification.
- Confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement.
- Monitoring performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports.
- Collating and analyzing performance charts and data against defined parameters.
- Immediately conduct containment action on non-conformance.
- Understanding, and executing the tests and procedures for stability (aging test) using the stability chamber.
- Understanding and analyzing result of samples and products from X-ray diffraction (XRD) machine.
- Ensure inspection, planning and execution of calibration and preventive maintenance task for facilities equipment are carried out as per schedule and minimum facilities downtime to production operations.
- Ensure JKKP inspection for machinery is performed within timeframe and comply with the Factories and Machinery Act 1967.
- Monitoring and analysing the performance of the equipment thru calibration and preventive maintenance report.
- Ensure equipment use are safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Islamic law, Halal standard requirements and Malaysian Halal Certification by checking and inspect the materials/packaging/products/processes/facilities.
- Monitor, control and maintain the cleanliness of cleanroom.
- Develop and execute the yearly manufacturing/business plan to deliver business objectives (cost on testing, calibration & maintenance, research, quality, etc).
- To recommend preventive/corrective actions of all non-conformities or customers complaints.
- Determining relevant quality associated training requirements and delivering training to improve product excellence.
- Supervise and assisting production team in reprocessing and other operational problems.
- To develop, motivate and guide all operators to maintain high standards of discipline, productivity, safety practices and to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Writing management and technical reports. Maintain detailed records of the testing, and all documentation related to quality control as well as relevant additional information, and various metrics such as the number of defective products produced.
- Respond and answerable to microbiology and quality control matters for internal and external audits (CE Mark unannounced audit, micro-visit and annual ISO 13485 audit and Medical Device Authority (MDA) audit, Halal audit, Full Conformity Assessment, etc). Assist in closed non-conformance reports (NCR) for the audits.

**Key Job Responsibilities Schedule Waste Officer**
- Responsible to notify the Director General (DG) of the new categories and quantities of scheduled wastes which are generated. The notification must be made within 30 days from the date of generation of scheduled wastes and shall include information provided in the Second Schedule.
- To formulate, review and facilitate the implementation of scheduled waste related procedures, work instructions and other documentation from time to time.
- To conduct periodic check and routine inspection to scheduled waste processes according to the system recommendation and checklist.
- Provide training to all employees to ensure that they operate in compliance with Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005.
- Aim to meet wastes reduction and recycling targets. Advise employees on wastes reduction and environmental issues.
- Ensure that all employees involved in the identification, handling, labeling, transportation, storage and spill response of scheduled wastes, attend training programme.
- Initiate and implement safety, health and environment measures in all work areas.
- To ensure all scheduled wastes are meet the standard operating procedure (SOP) before storage at the scheduled wastes store.
- Ensure that scheduled waste generated on premise are properly stored, treated on-site, recovered on site for material or product from such scheduled waste.
- Educate workers and employees on safety aspect and supervise them to carry out the proper way of handling scheduled waste spillages (if any).
