To provide legal advice and support in all legal matters, including not limited to conveyancing, litigation, secretarial matters and dispute resolution for the company.
- To assist in drafting, reviewing, revising and finalizing all legal letters, agreements and other legal documents and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- Assist in preparing and managing general corporate, contracting, and licensing documents for the legal department.
- To assist and handle legal issues that is related to business and propose appropriate mitigating solutions.
- To liase and coordinate with the external solicitors and third-party advisors on all legal matters on company’s legal matters.
- To assist in assessing legal risks to the business, highlight major risks in the contracts and advice the best measure that needs to be taken by the company.
- Assist in preparing status report and to keep management updated of all relevant legal matters.
- Keeping the management and other department on the updated on latest legislative and regulatory changes.
- Keep abreast knowledge in the legislation ang regulations in Malaysia especially those involving the Company/Group of Companies businesses.
- Work closely with internal teams / departments and provide support on compliance matters, policies and procedures, laws and regulations.
- To implement all relevant policies, activities, procedures, instructions as required.
- To undertake any duties and responsibilities as instructed.

**Job requirements**:

- Have bachelor of Laws (LLB), Certification of Legal Practice (CLP) or its equivalent.
- 1-2 years experience practising as a conveyancing lawyer;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Prior litigation experience will be an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently as a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
