**About the role**

We are seeking a diligent and passionate **Sustainability Assistant** to join our dynamic team at **Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer Sdn Bhd** in **Pasir Gudang, Johor**. This full-time role will play a crucial part in driving our sustainability initiatives and supporting our commitment to environmental preservation and social responsibility.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and action plans
- Collecting, analysing and reporting on key environmental and social performance data
- Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, including communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Researching and staying up-to-date with sustainability trends, best practices and regulatory changes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement sustainability-focused projects
- Providing administrative support for sustainability-related initiatives and programmes

**What we're looking for**
- Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, CSR or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a sustainability or environmental role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- Keen interest and understanding of sustainability best practices and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting using relevant software tools
- Attention to detail and a proactive, results-oriented approach
