Chemist

Responsible in daily laboratory testing with compliance to MS ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. He/she shall comply with the group HSE procedures while performing any analytical work in the laboratory.
- To ensure timeliness and accuracy to meet turnaround time and that the daily test result is produced accurately and precisely.
- Effectively implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IEC 17025 as well as Group Quality System.
- Adhere to group HSE safety procedures.
- Ensure that information from the clients is kept as strictly confidential and never revealed to the third party.
- Ensure all analytical equipment, apparatus etc are to be appropriately maintained and calibrated as per the required schedule.
- Ensure root-cause of all non-conformities or customer complaints are to be investigated and identified with appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- To treat proficiency Testing Programmed or Round Robin seriously and make sure the result obtained is most accurate and precise.
- To train, supervise and monitor Junior Staff with assigned test methods and procedures.
- To ensure all controlled quality procedures, test methods and document are kept confidentially and restricted within WM premise.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
- Ensure all perform and understand Sample preparation for Minerals, Bauxite and other commodities.
- Ensure to conduct moisture analysis, crushing/pulverizing, size test & HGI test
- To control unauthorized person from entering the Laboratory area.
- Maintain a 5S, clean and safe work area as required to meet company's housekeeping standards and to allow orderly completion of duties.
- Perform any duties assigned by superior from time to time.

**Requirement**
- At least 2 years and above of full-time professional laboratory experience. Experience in mining/quarry-related industry would be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with right and positive attitude are acceptable.
- Able to understand/knowledge of standard test method or procedures.
- Good Laboratory and analytical skill. Energetic, flexible and innovative.
- Has initiative, fast learner and able to work independently.
- Computer literacy.
- Good in communication, read and write in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to work in Senai, Johor.
- Has own transport.

Working Hour : Monday to Saturday

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:
