**The role**:
We are looking for a **Marketing Procurement Manager** to manage all aspects of the marketing categories, sourcing strategies, planning, processes, approvals, documentation, guidance, and requirements. This is a critical support role for the marketing team and highly visible, working with the Marketing Leadership Team on a regular basis.
The Marketing Procurement collaboratively engages as a business partner to the brands, by providing top quality, brand appropriate, timely, competitively sourced goods, services and business solutions that deliver value.

Regional Head of Marketing Procurement
**Key tasks and responsibilities**:
- Manage the marketing categories i.e. PR agency service, press release and communication, media event invitation, online, offline Social Media-Communication Channels-KOL Cooperation, Brand Creativity, Media Agency (TV media, OOH & Production) etc. including merchandise, PR, print, and advertising goods/services on a regional level.
- Selects suppliers & agencies in accordance with department strategy and manages them from a portfolio perspective
- Drive marketing team towards early and accurate creation of purchase requisitions in compliance with all purchasing policies.
- Maintains a database of agency/supplier capabilities and interviews agencies to assess their suitability, making recommendations for engagement.
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing departments as well as supplier management.
- Meet with the Marketing leadership team on a regular basis, providing budget updates and recommendations.
- Manages the agency & supplier panel by evaluating suppliers and developing relationships
- Manage Procurement process from RFQs through PO release by selecting from the panel, advocates strategy, analyses and benchmarks result and negotiating with the suppliers.
- Reviews, and manages the contracts and supplier/agency negotiations and feedback; tracks key contracts & expiration dates to ensure proactivity.
- Initializes rate cards & staffing plans to bring efficiency to the sourcing, benchmarking & negotiations processes
- Make recommendations for procurement strategies, processes & procedures using analytics and market intelligence.
- Proactively develops and manages key stakeholders, suppliers, and agencies; develops relationships, completes scorecards, and communicates feedback.
- Follows the SOPs and policy set by the Procurement Guidelines and educates colleagues on best practices and ways of working.
- Ensure procurement processes are transparent, and ethical and complied with the legal requirement and compliance policies.
- Assist in the development of KPIs and SLAs for suppliers.
- Act as the liaison between marketing budget owners and marketing leadership, finance and accounting.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the procurement marketing/marketing communication space.
- A strong ability to engage and influence vertically and horizontally with stakeholders across the company is crucial in ensuring category management strategies are adopted and meet business needs
- Effective negotiation and supply base management are required to ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage in a dynamic and changing environment
- Performance-driven balanced with the proven success of working effectively in a cross-functional team in an international environment

- Autonomy, entrepreneurial self-starter who can work with mínimal supervision.
- Confident and able to push back when appropriate, and escalate when needed.
- Excellent English communication skills working with key stakeholders.

**Professional**:
- Experience in Marketing Procurement (5-7 years) and/or Marketing.
- Experience in the e-commerce industry preferred.
- Experience in Marketing or in an agency is welcome.
**Technical Skills**:
- Advanced agency/supplier negotiations
- Excellent analytical capabilities and Excel skills and ability to create pivot tables for detailed analysis.
- High-level & detailed category strategy development.
- In-depth knowledge of agency types, processes, and basic workings.
