**What is this about?**

Looking after our existing and targeted customers across Malaysia, whilst adopting a consultative selling approach, you will understand the key challenges faced by academics. Then, as our new Education Consultant, you will suggest the most appropriate McGraw Hill solution for their course/module/unit of study. This is a 360 sales position, so you be responsible for closing your own business and maintaining a strong and prosperous pipeline.

**What you will be doing?**
- Growing the McGraw Hill Higher Education portfolio - both print and digital - by retaining adoptions, expanding new adoptions, and proactively seeking orders from booksellers and influencing buying decisions.
- Liaising with key stakeholders within the Higher Education markets to identify new business opportunities.
- Developing relationships, networking, and fact-finding to drive the achievement of targets and objectives.
- Partnering with local distributors and partners across Malaysia to drive our printed-portfolio solutions.
- Maintaining accuracy in company records such as ensuring all calls have been logged correctly in Salesforce, and opportunities have been tracked correctly.

**What can you bring to the role?**
- Previous sales or business development experience coupled with the understanding of managing the complete sales cycle.
- Experience within a digital, software, or online products environment would be advantageous.
- An understanding of the Education sector. This would be desirable.
- A fluency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing). An additional language would be preferred.
- A desire to help University learners and an interest in education technology.
- Bachelors Degree.
