Kuching, Malaysia ECS Facility Management Sdn Bhd Full time

Ensures accurate and timely day-to-day accounting which includes invoicing, payment processing, payroll and cash management;
- Ensures that a complete and accurate monthly trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and notes to accounts are completed on a timely basis (full set of account)
- Be familiar with management reporting and statutory reporting requirements and ensures that monthly closing is done accurately and timely according to the schedule.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Ensure all payments are checked and processed accurately and timely; Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to reconcile discrepancies in payments, invoices and receipts;
- Co-ordinate and assist in finance administrative matters which includes banking matters, maintenance of vendor and customer database etc.
- Ensures accounting records are prepared by generally accepted accounting principles, local laws and regulations and company policies;
- Prepares and presents monthly management reports, variance analysis and cash flow projections to Management / Directors.
- Develop standard operating procedures and ensure the implementation of strong internal controls within the organisation;
- Liaise with regulatory agencies (such as tax agencies etc) to ensure compliance with local statutory laws and regulations.
- Liaise with the auditors on annual audits and address any accounting and control issues proactively.
- Responsible for the annual budgeting cycle. Monitor and work with internal stakeholders to ensure the income and cost are delivered by the approved budgets.
- Continually reviews business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency;
- Coordinates company secretary matters.
- Performs other appropriate duties upon request by the Director or line manager.

**Required Qualifications**
- At least (5) Five years of financial/project management/accounting experience within an international organization, or multinational company. With experience in GL and AP.

**Required Skills and Competencies**
- Proven experience as a Assistant Finance Manager or similar position
- Developed financial management/accounting skills are essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to set priorities, complete work with mínimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Experience in Accounting system preferred
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills. Willingness to be hands-on.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency (spoken and written) in English.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
