**Role Summary**
The Studio Lead is responsible for delivering a superior studio experience to The Flow Studio clients. Ownership of the customer experience includes control and management of the physical environment of the studio, the quality of delivery
of classroom instruction, communication with clients, and instructor development.
Our Studio Lead reports to the Studio Director and oversees the day-to-day operations of the studio, as well as a team of Teachers and Desk Staff. The ability to effectively leader a team is a must, along with being highly organised and
having a passion for offering high quality customer service. This is a rewarding job where multi-tasking and prioritisation of work are key. You will also have the opportunity to help in all areas of managing a business - from Recruitment through to Marketing & Customer Service, so business management experience and people skills together with a proven record of managing financials are essential.
**Essential Job Duties**
Client Relationship Development
- Exemplify excellent customer care and assume a leadership role in providing a superior customer journey from start to finish - both online and in studio.
- Assume ownership in ensuring that the physical studio environment meets The Flow Studio standards. Maintain the highest level of cleanliness, environment and functionality of all studio spaces. This includes providing optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings in all areas of the studio.
- Maintain an appropriate level of studio supplies so that all provisions and amenities are available for all clients and staff at all times.
- Maintain a high level of customer communication through personal interaction with clients. Follows up with new students to support them in practice development.
Revenue Growth and Profitability
- Responsible for continued revenue growth and profitability of the studio. Plan and execute class content and schedules that appeal to the local market and result in optimum attendance and yoga/pilates revenue.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute strategies that continuously bring new students into the studio. Create and implement programs that turn new students into permanent clients.
- Train teachers and front desk staff to inspire optimum client purchases.
- Assist marketing team in developing ideas to create and deliver effective marketing collateral and Personnel Development.
- Hire, train, and develop studio front desk staff to the highest standards.
- Ensures the front desk across all locations are scheduled and staffed accordingly.
- Supervise, review and coach employees to develop a high level of job effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. Deliver constructive feedback, growth plans, and disciplinary action in a timely manner.
- Sustain a high level of communication with employees through productive individual dialogue. Complete regularly scheduled meetings, trainings, and feedback sessions to facilitate productive communication and promote an environment of teamwork.
Operations / Administrative
- Proactively manages multiple class schedules & instructors across multiple locations and studios.
- Subject matter expert on systems & product/package knowledge.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the studio (physical and virtual) including ad-hoc event supervision
- Ensures expenses are kept well in control and efficiencies in operations and systems are derived wherever possible.
- Complete required reporting to assist corporate office in maintaining complete and proper financial records. Such reporting includes, but is not limited to, cash drawer receipt report, bank deposits, and frequent statistical reporting.
- Compile regular payroll reports on a timely basis.
- Maintain all schedules, accounts, and information in the online system. Ensure accurate and complete client records, financial data, and retail inventory.
- Manage the risk associated with operating a local business. Remain mindful of activities and operations of the business, and seek ways to minimize harm to clients, employees, and company assets.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete special projects as required.
Education, Skills & Qualifications
- Completion of a Yoga Alliance 200 hour teacher training program preferred.
- Required demonstrated customer service skills, leadership ability, an aptitude for organization and an ability to prioritize job duties.
- High School diploma required.
- College degree and business management experience is preferred.
