As a part of the GFO (Global Finance Organisation) leadership team, this individual will be responsible for all of the centralized reporting & statutory activity, reporting directly to the Global Finance Lead.

The main focus of this position is managing all matters related to internal US GAAP and external STAT (Non-US GAAP) reporting for Baker Hughes, including the compliance with financial reporting regulations in all countries where we operate as a business. Role expectations include proactive and dynamic management of the Reporting & Statutory team to achieve key performance measurements in terms of efficiency, productivity and quality while ensuring all the controls are followed and mentoring the teams through a service excellence provider culture.

**Develop your career in International Tax**

As a Global Reporting & Statutory Lead, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and developing a team of 100+ finance professionals who are responsible for the overall management and delivery of Reporting & Statutory activities across the enterprise
- Defining reporting requirements for existing and new legal entities and ensure practical implementation of these requirements in internal systems
- Researching and keeping abreast of global financial reporting developments, evaluate necessary business and process changes, develop, and execute plans accordingly to ensure compliance with new regulations
- Managing Reporting & Statutory projects and develop strategic and operational implementation work plans to ensure new service or country launches are compliant and timely- Building a strong collaborative partnership with external & internal advisors (in particular our global audit partners and corporate tax team), Coordinate and manage with these groups on various reporting & statutory issues, e.g. obtain advice as necessary and ensure accurate and timely reporting and government filings
- Contributing to Financial Statutory awareness and appreciation within the Baker Hughes group
- Managing the accurate, reliable, and timely reporting for internal requirements
- Ensuring compliance with required external and internal controls

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any business related field. Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) or graduate degree in Finance is a definite asset
- Have at least 12 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment, Big 4 / major corporation experience highly regarded
- Have strong technical knowledge in Financial Standards for reporting in an international context, both in mature and developing jurisdictions
- Have experience with financial reporting setup in systems, including ERP systems
- Have SAP / ORACLE knowledge and advanced user in Excel
- Have experience in managing large teams (min 8-10 span of control)
- Have solid organizational skills - Time management and prioritization of live issues and multiple tasks
- Have ability to work in a fast-moving environment, take initiative, and be self-managed.
- Have ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
- Have project management experience, including strong organizational and change management skills
- Have strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complicated financial technical issues with senior leadership
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of cross-functional teams
- Have ability to have good grasp of the detail whilst understanding the “big picture”, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Be able to lead and collaborate effectively across multiple internal functions
- Have professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic
