**Associate Litigation**
- Assist Senior Associates to manage litigation matters including but not limited to recovery cases, highly contentious general litigation disputes, and corporate and commercial disputes.
- Assist Senior Associates to attend Case Management, and Hearings and to conduct their own trials without and/or with minimum supervision.
- To keep track of the management of each file.
- To conduct extensive research on matters handled.
- To draft and file common pleadings, motions, notices, and other court filings.
- Familiar with federal and state rules of procedure and evidence for document format, content, filing, etc., and ensures compliance with rules.
- Performs and oversees both simple and complex authority and fact cite-checking; confirms case quotes and proofreads briefs and other legal documents.
- Assists and manages trial preparations, creates trial notebooks, identifies, and organizes exhibits, coordinates witness schedules, maintains trial calendars, and communicates effectively with opposing counsel and courtroom staff.
- Assists in the preparation of post-trial filings including briefing, motions for costs and sanctions, etc., and organizes the case for an appeal if necessary.

**Requirements and skills**
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice.
- Admitted and enrolled as an advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Interpersonal/marketing skills and advantages.
- Meticulous and able to work independently under minimum supervision.
- A great team player, attention to detail, meticulous, and well organised.
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and have an analytical mind.
- Positive attitude, responsible and trusted person.
- Able to work under pressure & tight deadlines.

**Salary**: From RM3,500.00 per month
