**SOLUTION ARCHITECT**

**Founded in September 2020, Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital A Berhad based in KLIA2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ADE leverages the AirAsia’s Engineering Department’s best practices and unsurpassed combined experience in the region. ADE offers a range of aircraft services focused on the Airbus A320, A321 & A330 for line maintenance services, component and warehouse services, and engineering support services.**

**Solution Architects at ADE provide the technical leadership for solving business problems using technology solutions taking into consideration the existing organizational environment, people and processes. The role leads the practice of solution engineering, bridging the gap between business problems and technical solutions.**

**What you will do**:

- **
Understand business problems, requirements and constraints holistically to find the best technology solution among all possible solutions.**
- ** Understand the business and product vision and direction and recommend the best possible way to achieve the goal with the best in term of performance and economics, while being agile and flexible to changes**
- ** Design and communicate system architecture, processes, characteristics, limitations, and other aspects of a particular technology solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.**
- ** Take complete ownership of the non-functional requirements of each individual product, namely, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability and reliability.**
- ** Ensure the cost efficiency is balanced with optimization of each component or resources used for the project.**
- ** Document, maintain and govern the solution design in the form of Technical Specification Document (TSD) as the system’s blueprint.**
- ** Mentor a team of more than 20 internal software engineers on new technologies, processes and best practice adoption**
- ** Define features, phases and solution requirements.**
- ** Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed and delivered.**
- ** Provide a clear implementation plan of any new technology solutions, taking into consideration the transition barriers that might exist, such as skill gap, cost, sensitivity to disruption, learning curve etc**
- ** Maximize the value delivery of existing technology solutions through upskilling of knowledge for the technology users and through lean, optimized processes**
- ** Monitor the efforts to implement technology solutions and ensure its success.**
- ** Actively research industry-wide frameworks and integrate them into our team practice.**

**Your experience and skills**:

- **
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields**
- ** Positive outlook in meeting challenges and enjoy working towards achieving high standard practices and results**
- ** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills**
- ** At least 8 years of working experience in one or multiple areas of IT, such as, Software Engineering, DevOps, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure, Business Analysis, Project Management and Product Management.**
- ** Strong experience with Git**
- ** Experience designing and building RESTful services.**
- ** Experience with containerised solutions and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and Openshift.**
- ** Experience writing SQL queries**
- ** Experience using AUTH technologies such as OAuth2, LDAP/SAML**
- ** Good understanding of networking concepts**
- ** Experience writing unit and functional tests**
- ** Experience with Agile scrum methodology**
- ** Any certifications relevant to Solution Architect would be a plus**
