**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability of database systems.
- Perform routine database maintenance, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the creation of database schemas and data models.
- Monitor database performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Assist in writing documentation for database processes and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database needs are met in various projects.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALICATIONS**:

- **A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).**:

- Basic understanding of **PostgreSQL** and relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of **SQL** and experience in writing complex queries.
- Familiarity with database optimization techniques, indexing, and query performance.
- Understanding of database normalization and data modeling principles.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
