**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reception and Guest Services (Front Desk Duties)**:
**1. Guest Check-In and Check-Out**:
- Take over receptionist duties from the evening shift, including late-night check-ins and early-morning check-outs.
- Assist guests with reservations, payments, and room keys.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
**2. Guest Support**:
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, or requests.
- Handle guest issues professionally or escalate to management when necessary.
**3. Handover**:
- Receive and record all information from the evening shift and prepare a detailed handover for the morning receptionist or management.
**Night Audit Duties**:
**1. Financial Reconciliation**
- Review and reconcile the day’s financial transactions for all hotel departments.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and submit them to management.
**2. System Updates**:
- Roll the property management system (PMS) to the next business day.
- Ensure all guest and financial records are updated and accurate.
**Security and Safety Responsibilities**:
**1. Premises Security**:
- Conduct regular patrols around the hotel to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and respond to any suspicious activity.
- Secure all offices, meeting rooms, event halls, and other key areas by locking doors and checking access points.
**2. Emergency Response**:
- Act quickly and effectively in emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or unauthorized access.
- Ensure guests and staff are guided safely during emergencies.
**3. Incident Documentation**:
- Record all security or safety incidents and report them to management for follow-up action.
**Other Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist with guest wake-up calls and any special overnight requests.
- Prepare the hotel for the morning shift, including setting up materials or areas as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or security is advantageous.
- Prior experience in front desk, night audit, or security roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial reconciliation and property management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in using hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Physical fitness to perform security patrols and handle emergencies.

**Working Conditions**:
- Overnight shifts (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
- Standing for extended periods at the reception desk and performing patrols.
- Occasionally working outdoors during security checks or emergencies.
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
