Locum Radiographer

**About the role**

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Locum Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, in accordance with clinic protocols and safety standards. The locum radiographer will support the clinical team by ensuring high-quality imaging services are available to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care

**What you'll be doing**
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by doctors and in accordance with radiation safety regulations.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients and settings of equipment to obtain optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of imaging equipment.
- Observe and enforce compliance with infection control and radiation safety policies.
- Handle patient queries and provide reassurance throughout procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunction or safety issue to the clinic management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the clinic team and respond to urgent imaging requests when on duty.

**What we're looking for**
- Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging or Radiography
- Prior experience in primary care or outpatient clinic setting is an advantage.
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of a variety of medical imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Willing to work on a locum basis (as needed)

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 44 per week
