JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for overall architecture, development and deployment of one or more infrastructure transformation solutions including different cloud solutions. One example will be developing an end-to-end real-time remote monitoring and alarm system for Radio’s transmission systems throughout out transmitter sites. This requires integrating 3 unique systems ie. SNMP data from the audio level monitoring system, custom-built SCADA-PLC remote telemetry monitoring systems (RTMS) at out FM transmitter sites and the SMS-Helpdesk alarm notification system. Each of these 3 systems themselves were developed internally by Radio (or co-developed with the equipment manufacturer) and require regular updates, fixes and enhancements. The SCADA system for example requires strong knowledge in electronics and control systems engineering. The SMS-Helpdesk requires a good grasp of GUI. The level meter system requires competency in SNMP data management.
To conceptualize and build end-to-end solutions and frameworks for Cloud Platforms, Cloud Services, Cloud Operations and Cloud On-boarding wherever applicable. Examples include AWS cloud administration dashboards, client-database tools for Media Sales, apps for audience research for Marketing and Research and real-time program monitoring of radio brands streaming online.
- Reviews all programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance to established departmental guidelines, policies and practices as well as industry standard guidelines. Performs acceptance testing and program implementation for assigned systems and/or projects.
- Ensures the project is well documented and consistent with company working policies and procedures. He / She is responsible for developing detailed design specifications, unit test plans and high-quality coding.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Malaysian with Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or Communications Engineering or Computer Science/Information Technology with strong interfacing software experience.
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in designing software architecture and custom software development with minimum 2 years practical experience in programming with C++ and C# (Sharp).
Experience with functional analysis and architectural modeling methods, including business process and logical data modeling.
- Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills in an enterprise environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization.
- Adept at tracking technology trends, conceptualizing new Cloud solutions / components / enhancements and collaborating in a team to build technical solutions.
- Practical experience in handling professional audio equipment and working knowledge in Control Systems programming will be an added advantage.
