**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and best practices.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring effective cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying variances and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and industry trends to align the finance function with best practices.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or deputy role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
