WE ARE HIRING: Sourcing & Material Analyst

Location: Kulai, Johor (i-Park Industrial Area)

Industry: High-Tech Packaging Solutions (supporting semiconductor, electronics & precision equipment sectors)

We are hiring on behalf of a global player in the high-tech, reusable packaging industry, serving clients in the semiconductor, electronics, and high-precision manufacturing sectors. Based in Kulai i-Park, Johor, this role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong sourcing and supply chain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze supply chain and material data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiency
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives: localization, volume purchasing, supplier consolidation, and lead time optimization
- Collaborate with procurement engineering and technical departments to identify alternative materials or suppliers
- Negotiate terms with new and existing suppliers for competitive pricing and improved delivery
- Maintain accurate vendor pricing records and ensure updates in the ERP system (ISAH)
- Support the buyer team with pricing data, resolve queries from sales, and ensure transparency
- Monitor raw material market trends and assess cost risks or opportunities
- Propose supply performance improvements, inventory optimization, and transport scheduling
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to anticipate material demands and fluctuations
- Prepare pricing and cost trend reports; conduct ad-hoc data analysis when required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, or material analysis within a manufacturing environment (MNC preferred)
- Proven ability to manage supplier negotiations and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices
- ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency (ISAH system experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Independent, proactive, and results-driven with high professional integrity
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
