**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Bookkeeping & Data Entry**:
- Record and maintain financial transactions (e.g., invoices, receipts, payments) in ledgers or accounting software.
- Assist in preparing and processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements and verify discrepancies.
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Follow up on customer payments and update accounts receivable records.
- Assist in preparing monthly statements and aging reports.
- **Documentation & Filing**:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records (both digital and physical copies).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- **Reporting & Administrative Support**:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports (e.g., cash flow, balance sheets).
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties as required by the finance team.
- **Compliance**:
- Ensure adherence to Malaysian tax regulations (e.g., SST, withholding tax, if applicable).
- Assist in preparing documents for tax filings and statutory submissions.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
- **Education**: Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred but not mandatory).
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks).
- Basic understanding of **Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)** is a plus.
- **Soft Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- **Language**: Proficiency in **English, Chinese** and **Bahasa Malaysia**.
**Working Conditions**
- Office-based role with standard working hours (e.g., 9 AM-6 PM, Monday-Friday).
- May require overtime during month-end or audit periods.
