We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining cleanliness and organization, assisting with pastry preparation and plating, and supporting the front-of-house (FOH) team when needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, minimizing ingredient waste, and upholding hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with KKM guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper maintenance of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Assist with pastry preparation, plating, and presentation for serving.
- Provide support to the front-of-house team as needed during peak hours.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of ingredients and baked goods to minimize waste and ensure availability.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards set by KKM.
- Prepare staff meals as required, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Suggest and contribute seasonal menu ideas to enhance offerings.
- Collaborate with the service team to keep track of baked goods stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Conduct quality control checks on food items to be served to maintain high standards.

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work weekends and night shifts as per business needs.
- Own transportation for commuting to and from work.
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
- Basic knowledge of kitchenware and equipment handling.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to company standards and procedures.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
