Site Supervisor

1) Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client's specifications and requirement are met. 2) Reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs 3) Assist in the preparation of all machineries, equipment, tools, materials, etc. prior to work commencement & control the use of materials & machineries 4) Coordinate, supervise and schedule manpower at site & maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance 5) Asist Project Manager to coordinate all trade of work at site & to check & ensure the quality of works 6) Supervise whole site activities including handling project planning, cost control, coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors 7) Monitor and control material usage at project site to achieve company's objective on "zero wastage" 8) Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety 9) Preparing Progress Report & keep daily progress records 10) Attend site meeting, coordination meeting, progress meeting and other meeting where required 11) Reporting to Project Manager/ Management of any progress and site activities 12) Troubleshooting and problem solving on matters related to site and documentation 13) To undertake any or all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Project Manager/ Management 14) To provide guidance and insight to upper management, purchasing department and procure buy-in 15) To manage site & documentation on the inspection requirement with the client and consultant 16) Witnessing performance of tests and inspection 17) Communicating correct and up-to-date construction information between all parties & report all discrepancies related to the work to the management 18) Any others task assigned by the Project Manager/ Management **Requirements**: 1) Possess Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering. Those without the relevant qualifications but with 10 years’ experience in the construction industry can also be considered. 2) Age 30 - 45 years with minimum 5 - 10 years working experience preferably from roadwork, infrastructure, building and construction industry in a similar position. 3) Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia. 4) Have good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices. 5) Must be a dynamic, team player, committed and result-oriented. 6) Must have the ability and personality to drive and motivate team to achieve common goals. 7) Able to communicate and coordinate in a clear and organised manner with others. Responsible, diligent and honest 8) Experience with JKR or government project especially road construction & infrastructure will be an added advantage 9) Good knowledge in construction safety regulations & accident protocol 10) Preferably to be computer literate and familiar with MS Office Applications, MS Project Schedule & Auto Cad 11) Willing to travel & relocate to site - Pahang or Johor. **Job Types**: Full-time, Contract **Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month **Benefits**: - Maternity leave - Meal provided - Parental leave - Professional development Schedule: - Day shift - Flexible hours - Night shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred) **Experience**: - Constructions Industry: 5 years (preferred) - Roadwork: 5 years (preferred) - Infrastructure,: 5 years (preferred)
