**Your Contribution**:

- Team Leadership and Management: Manage and lead the production team, including staffing, training, development, and daily supervision. Ensure adequate staffing levels, manage holiday allowances, and handle recruitment and disciplinary issues. Foster a motivated and skilled workforce to maximize efficient productivity.
- Production Planning and Target Achievement: Develop and implement production plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets in line with customer specifications. Monitor production progress, adjust schedules as needed, and optimize resource allocation to ensure targets are achieved. Minimize costs and maintain best working practices throughout production processes.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Maintain quality standards and ensure products meet customer expectations. Implement and enforce quality control measures, conduct regular inspections, and address any non-conformances. Comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and environmental standards to ensure operational and product compliance.
- Operational Performance and Efficiency: Oversee plant operations and financial performance, including monitoring productivity levels, production costs, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Identify areas for improvement, implement process optimization initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare the annual manufacturing budget and forecasts, including capital expenditure (CAPEX) requirements. Manage the budget throughout project identification, approval, and completion stages. Monitor expenditure, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Health and Safety Management: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, prioritize workplace safety, and enforce safety procedures and protocols. Promote a culture of safety awareness, conduct regular risk assessments, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents or incidents.

**Your Profile**:

- Degree in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Science/Material Science
- Minimum 10 years in optical glass manufacturing industry with managerial and leadership role
- Knowledge in manufacturing of Glass or optical parts include cleaning process, laser marking, dicing, Ag printing, optical inspection, optical contacting, and interferometry and optical measurements.
- Certified in CQE/CQM, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.
