**Key Responsibility**
- Supervise daily THT production activities, including component insertion, wave soldering, hand soldering, inspection, rework, and testing.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower, materials, machines, and methods for THT lines to meet production targets and customer delivery schedules.
- Monitor process throughput, yield, rejects, rework, downtime, and other KPIs; drive continuous improvement in THT operations.
- Enforce quality standards: ensure THT processes comply with customer specs, IPC standards, internal quality checks, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, process, maintenance, and quality teams to optimise THT processes, reduce defects, improve throughput, and control costs.
- Train, mentor, and develop THT operators/technicians; identify skill gaps and coordinate on-the-job training or external training as needed.
- Ensure all safety, environmental, and workplace regulations are followed (e.g. EHS protocols, proper handling of solder, chemicals, PPE).
- Lead root-cause analysis for THT defects or line problems, propose and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, warehouse (for THT components), and logistics for material availability, component quality, and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on production performance, issues, improvements, and proposals to senior management.
**Qualifications**
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred).
- Several years (typically 3-5+) of experience in THT processes in EMS or PCB assembly environment, with at least some in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of THT soldering, wave/hand solder, component insertion, and associated inspection/testing methods.
- Experience with IPC standards (IPC-A, IPC-610, etc.), quality systems, audit processes.
- Proven leadership, communication, coaching, and team management skills.
- Ability to analyse data, problem solve, drive improvements and manage change.
- Good understanding of safety / environmental regulations, EHS practices in soldering/manufacturing.
- Computer literacy (ERP, MES, spreadsheets, production tracking tools).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
