a) Lean in conjunction with General Manager / Project Manager, investigations of all incidents, accidents and near misses.

b) Planning for HSE, including the setting of realistic short
- and long-term objectives, deciding priorities and establishing adequate performance standards.

c) Maintaining adequate information systems on internal relevant law (civil and criminal) and on guidance and developments in general and safety management practice.

d) Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance.

e) To check that workers perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulations, and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.

f) Perform all the remaining miscellaneous work relating to safety, traffic, firm, environment protection and sanitary matters.

g) Planning for emergency response measures including periodic drill of evacuation, fire safety and medical evacuation.

h) Acts and reports immediately to the General Manager / Project Manager, any dangerous actions and or situations.

i) To be a consultant advisor and work with project management teams & workers to develop and implement solutions to safety related issues on project sites.

j) Liaise with external parties such as government-employed inspectors to evaluate the process of construction sites

k) To train company employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures

l) Interact with licensed bodies for regular update on legal regulations and program initiatives on workplace safety and environmental issues.

m) Carry out monitoring or ensure that the monitoring is carried out by competent personnel / organization as directed by the General Manager / Project Manager.

n) Ensure Heat Stress Index Information is communicated to other HSE Personnel and workers for their action.

o) To execute any other duties as and when required by Management.

p) Act as Head Coordinator (COVID19) to plan, implement construction SOP for all project sites and worker camps.
