**Qualifications and competency requirement.**:

- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.).
- Good knowledge in company's Automation products including PLC, Standard Drive, Software, Networks, and ideally good knowledge of third-party products.
- Good Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, and Customer knowledge.
- Tact, excellent interpersonal / collaboration skills, and self-motivation are essential characteristics.
- Good Communication with soft skill. Extensive analysis and problem-solving skills also Good English writing and speaking skills.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Strong Service management skills with ability to get things done.
- Process-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
- Extremely collaborative and effective in a cross-functional environment.
- Consulting experience or operational leadership responsibility required.

- Responsibilities:
**Summary**:

- Regional Training Manager is responsible for managing training as a business and drive strong training revenue growth in Asia PacificLife Cycle Services.
- This role will be responsible for managing the training team located in various countries across Asia Pacific that are involved in creating, implementing, and delivering various training programs for our customers as well as our own employees.
- He/She will work closely with the Sales organization to sell various open enrollment training programs for our customers and also responsible to deploy work force training solutions.
- He/She will work closely with the country business teams in identifying the talent needs for the organization, sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity, and helps workers create career path within the organization in collaboration with HR function.
- The position will also work fully aligned with the Global Training team and competency team regarding long term business and work force strategy.
- Partnering and influencing skills are essential to be successful in this role. Should be able to effectively operate in a high-pace environment and quickly address customer training needs to increase customer satisfaction.
- This individual shall have strong self-initiative, discipline, persistence, superb communication skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Will need to be to deliver results to various stakeholders, prioritize and negotiate options as appropriate.
**Job duties & responsibilities**:

- Manage the various training centers, infrastructure, and the training team across Asia Pacific in collaboration with training partners to drive exponential growth.
- Increase customer satisfaction and loyalty thru training services, drive business growth with various training offering including workforce solution, class-room training, Learning+ and training product, etc.
- Development of strategic plans around training as a business in collaboration with business team, sales team and distributors depending on various geographic market needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within an organization aligning with global training business.
- Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets effectively.
- Evaluate talent needs of customers and the company and plan training programs accordingly.
- Lead long term workforce strategy and the implementation within AP LCS organization through a structured mechanism including planning, aligning, tracking, and sustaining, and continuously drive the evolution of organizational transformation in the digital journey.
- Lead and oversee execution of multiple internal development programs including but not limited to early career programs (EIT, Young Talent Development Program), strategic initiatives (such as Connected Service Institute), management development programs (LCS Academy), etc. to make sure of the effectiveness of talent development
- Implement global training and competency strategies at regional level.
