The Animal Clinic Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the veterinary clinic — including animal treatment areas, kennels, reception, and office spaces. This role ensures a professional appearance of the facility while supporting infection control and a comfortable environment for clients, staff, and animals.

**Key Responsibilities: Clinic & Animal Care Areas**
- Clean and disinfect examination rooms, treatment rooms, surgical areas, and kennels according to clinic sanitation protocols.
- Remove animal waste and dispose of it safely and hygienically.
- Wash, sanitize, and restock linens, towels, and bedding for animals.
- Mop and disinfect floors regularly to prevent odor and contamination.
- Clean cages, crates, and animal holding areas daily.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory to the supervisor.

**Office & Reception Areas**
- Dust, vacuum, and mop all office and reception areas.
- Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Clean and disinfect desks, countertops, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Maintain the cleanliness of windows, doors, and glass partitions.
- Ensure the reception and waiting areas are tidy and welcoming for clients.

**Common & Staff Areas**
- Clean and disinfect staff restrooms, break rooms, and storage areas.
- Ensure adequate stock of toiletries and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain overall tidiness in hallways, entrances, and staff-only zones.

**General Duties**
- Follow all safety and infection-control policies, especially when using cleaning chemicals or around animals.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to the clinic manager.
- Adhere to confidentiality and professionalism within a veterinary environment.
- Support clinic staff with additional cleaning or setup duties during busy periods or emergencies.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in housekeeping or janitorial work (preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting).
- Basic knowledge of safe cleaning and disinfection practices.
- Comfortable working around animals and handling cleaning tasks related to animal care.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
