**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. QUALITY**:

- Promote and lead Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
- Collecting Data & Monitor clinical outcomes.
- Evaluate quality performance indicator.
- Ensuring blood sampling is taken according to planned schedule.
- Monitor and follow up on Adverse Occurrences Reporting and investigation processes.
- Monitor Mortality and Hospitalization outcomes.
- Coordinate the P&P review and development process in accordance with policy.
- Accountable to Clinical waste management.
- Support the new clinic clinical integration process.
- Oversee the root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action process in collaborative with Clinical Service Specialist (CSS).
- Regular reporting to Chief Medical Officer.
- Responsible towards quality initiatives towards patients, teammates and visitor’s safety.
- Monitors Adverse Occurrence Report (AOR) and advise and ensures implementation of corrective actions.
- Assists in the development, monitoring, and presentation of internal quality measures and initiatives.
- Assists in the development, review, revision, and roll out of clinical policies and procedures and/or education materials.
- Responsible for developing methods for data collection and extracts data as required.
- Participates with the Regional Operations Manager and Facility Administrator in the identification and development of facility specific quality initiatives and outcome goals.
- Assists in the implementation and monitoring of the goals to achieve desired results.
- Coordinates with CSS and CMO on the review and investigation of sentinel adverse occurrences and participate in the plan of correction and follow-up as requested.
- Assists facility teammates to maximize resources and strengths within their region to solve quality improvement challenges.
- Support CSS in term of training and monitor the implementation of clinical policies and procedures in the facility.
- Ensures quality management programs are in place and functional in the facilities.
- Participates in the QA/QI and Clinical meetings to ensure areas for improvement are addressed and appropriate action plan is formulated per policy and procedure.
- Support CSS in Performs Risk Assessment audits as indicated per audit policy.
- Works with the Regional Operations Manager and Facility Administrator and to ensure implementation and resolution of deficiencies.
- Provides timely submission of all reports and data collection requests to Corporate support teams.
- Supports management training as needed.
- Assists in corporate and/or division initiatives and special projects as assigned.

**2. ACCREDITATION**
- Ensure all clinics being accredited by Malaysian Standard Quality in Healthcare (MSQH).
- Ensure proper documentation is submitted to accreditation body as required.
- Providing training and support to the FA and Clinical teammates.
- Organize or activate nursing quality management / improvement committees that will work on nursing quality management program and activities.
- To maintain close liaison with other department to assure coordination, standardization and continuity of quality improvement program.
- Establish and maintain tracking systems for nursing quality activities.

**3. MANAGEMENT LEADERSHIP**
- Provide coaching and clinical Quality leadership to direct reports, CSS and teammates.
- Ensure development and support to Quality/Infection control Link Nurses.
- Participate in operations review process, provide reports with analysis as requested.
- Develop a collaborative and unified team.

**4. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provides reports to regional team as required
- Communicates any requests for policy and procedure changes to Chief Medical Officer.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Ensures P&P and quality programs are implemented in accordance with DaVita and Country requirements.
- Supervises the implementation of country clinical and quality program.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Registered Nurse with valid Annual Practice Certificate (APC).**:

- **Degree in nursing or related field.**:

- **Minimum of 5 years’ renal/dialysis experience.**:

- Experience writing P&Ps.
- **Quality Management, Clinical Risk Management experience a must.**:

- Demonstrated abilities to be a good teacher and effective communicator.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- In-depth understanding of clinical quality and risk management.
- **Travel: up to 30%.**

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
