Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled General Manager (GM) of Operations to oversee the comprehensive
operations of our 82 retail coin laundromat chain. The GM will ensure the excellence of day-to-day
activities, uphold and evolve standard operating procedures (SOPs), adeptly manage unforeseen
challenges with strategic solutions, and uphold the financial integrity of operational practices. This role
demands a proactive, strategic mindset aimed at bolstering eHiciency, productivity, and profitability
across all facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence:
Guarantee the seamless execution of business-as-usual (BAU) operations in line with established SOPs, upholding superior operational eHiciency and customer service standards across all locations.
2. SOP Management:
Conduct regular assessments to refine, update, or eliminate SOPs, ensuring they remain relevant, sustainable, and impactful. Innovate and implement operational improvements to drive greater eHiciency.
3. Problem Solving:
Swiftly tackle and remedy unforeseen challenges with eHective immediate actions and devise long-term strategies to mitigate future risks, incorporating new or adjusted SOPs as necessary.
4. Financial Oversight:
Closely monitor and analyze financial performance to ensure that operational adjustments and SOP implementations align with and support the company’s financial goals. Make informed decisions that balance cost-eHiciency with operational eHectiveness, aiming for overall financial health and growth.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience in operational leadership within the retail or service industries,
preferably with experience overseeing multiple locations.
2. Strong leadership qualities and decision-making capabilities.
3. Exceptional problem-solving skills, proven by a history of eHective operational enhancement.
4. Profound financial insight, adept in budget management, cost eHiciency strategies, and
financial analysis.
5. Bachelor's degree or above in preferably in the fields of engineering, physics, mathematics,
statistics, economics, finance and actuarial science.

Essential for promptly identifying and resolving immediate challenges while formulating longterm strategies to prevent future issues, ensuring operational stability and growth.

Crucial for overseeing the economic aspects of operational decisions, ensuring that all processes and changes contribute positively to the company’s financial strength and sustainability.
3. Adaptive Leadership:
Imperative for leading a diverse team through continuous operational improvements and changes, encouraging a culture of excellence and resilience amidst the evolving business landscape.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
