Project Manager

Our client is renowned company in the **Petrochemical **industry. Located in **Ara Damansara**, they are looking for a seasoned **Project Manager **to spearhead their goals.

**What you must have (Qualifications & Experiences)**
- Degree in **Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.**:

- At least **8 years of working experience in Mechanical and Electrical construction industry (Air Conditioning preferred)**.
- Experienced in **EPCC** added advantage.
- Hand on experience in **project management** will be an added advantage.

- **Ability to liaise and co-ordinate with Customer, Consultants, Sub-contractors and all relevant Government Authorities.**:

- Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and **Bahasa Cina.**:

- Strong leadership, tactful, self-assured, independent, a team player and able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver within committed deadlines.
- Ability to make decision and solving problem creatively.

**What you will be doing (Job Expectations)**
- Ensure all the Project is operated within the schedule.
- Prepare the Site Organization Chart, Master Work Programmed, short term work schedule for daily operation.
- To co-ordinate all internal & external efforts for proper job execution.
- To carry out an internal inspection with the respective sub-contractor responsible for the work.
- Prepared the project costing for all the new projects.
- To communicate with customers / client to fulfill their requirement.
- To arrange for collection of tender document.
- To call for quotation for materials and sub-contractor work.
- **Pricing for Bill of Quantities (BQ).**:

- Random checking into works done by Project Supervisor.
- Finalizing of tender with Managing Director / Operator Director.
- Conduct site visit & audit.
- Attend site meeting relating to project assigned and prepare the progress reports and daily manpower / resources / report as and when required by management or customers.
- Attend tender interview.
- Negotiation with sub-contractors.
- Lead a project team in the objective to complete the work in time with minimize wastage and within budgeted cost.
- To manage correspondences with clients, consultants and other related parties.
- Weekly reporting to the Top Management on the status of the progress of works.
- Work closely with management team to establish and control project budget, claims and manpower planning.
- To co-ordinate and liaise between all parties involved in the project, the daily site activities relating to material procurement, delivery, installation, testing & commissioning.
