Communications Strategist

The Intel Global Communications team is comprised of communications professionals spanning public relations, reputation management, analyst relations, exec comms, content, narrative, thought leadership and employee communications. It’s a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment. We’re looking for smart, thoughtful and collaborative team members who have amazing skills, positive attitudes, are independent thinkers and who thrive at the center of always-on communications.
This global role within the Enterprise and Business Group Transformation team is in a unique position to create strategic and tangible value for internal communications within Intel. It will require the ability to understand the complex and evolving global employee communications landscape. In addition to developing communications plans and crafting content, the role also includes defining (and refining) processes and resources to enable those with communications requirements across the company to communicate cohesively, as one Intel.
Aspects of the role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Responsible for the daily operations of our self-serve internal comms process. This will include:
- Driving use of the tool with stakeholders
- Content reviews
- Copy-editing
Engaging, training and supporting contract workers for copy-editing if and when burst capacity required.
- Maintain, design, market, and curate for the Communications Resource Center, growing it into a central reference library for internal communicators across Intel.
- Refine, with other members of the team, how new communications platforms can be most effectively used to meet the communications needs.
- Connect across site communicators to drive process and identify opportunities to improve experience for creating communications and engaging with central team.
- Represent the Asia perspective in global communications, campaign development, and sentiment analysis, supporting the global rollout of large initiatives and campaigns, advising on localization/globalization of the plans when required.
- Support localized communications in Asia that support legislative or corporate changes (e.g. pension, time-tracking, benefits change)
- Drive scale for Intel employee communications across the globe in support of a One Intel approach by recommending and establishing as appropriate processes and platforms for all internal communicators.
**Qualifications**
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills, including copy-editing, formatting and layout.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with potential to interact comfortably with—and sometimes influence—a spectrum of hierarchy inside and outside the function.
- Creative, energized, proactive and enthusiastic self-starter willing to take initiative with confidence.
Ability to understand tools and solutions and identify how to connect them to the needs of the audience/customers.
A strong team player, who thrives in a collaborative setting and works well within a global, matrixed environment.
- Resilient, flexible, and comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.
- Thrives in a remote and globally dispersed team, collaborating virtually at all times.
- Ability to keep a calm head, think clearly and quickly under pressure, and knows when to seek peer & manager counsel to make the right decisions.
- Diplomatic, with the antennae to pick up on organizational and cultural sensitivities.

Global Marketing & Communications is responsible for Intel's brand management, end-user product marketing and go-to-market activation strategy for direct and indirect marketing programs worldwide
