Synkd, (formerly Inspired Mobile) is a leading platform that looks to help with work life balance and upskill users digitally via a single platform.
Originally a marketing platform where customers can run cross channel campaigns, we have recently shifted to help users and companies digitally transform to offer a variety of services via a single login.
These services range from Events (booking templates), Marketing, Your Data and Studio. We aim to blur the boundaries between work and life via an app (launching in January) that allows the management of all services. Think Evenbrite, MailChimp, DV360, and Instapage all in one, without any third-party APIs. Yes we’re taking on Google Marketing Suite without any Investors (yet)
Synkd also counts over 4500 direct premium publishers, Global advertisers and their agencies as customers and we seek to forge deeper conversations with them all and our new SMB and consumer audiences. Much this will happen via Community.synkd.live (launching early January)
As such, we have created a new role to support the growth strategy by bringing in an experienced Senior **Marketing manager **to join the team and oversee global initiatives. This role can be part time or full time and will oversee the main support office in Malaysia.
Synkd (& sister company Imagine) currently have staff in the UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Australia and we plan to launch in UAE and India, and so we are looking for a forward-thinking individual with the ability (& aspiration) to one day become the head of digital marketing.
The role requires someone who can manage all aspects of digital marketing especially PR & social media channels that engages small and medium sized businesses to drive subscriptions and oversee the sales and partnership programmes to drive more users into the platform.
We’re looking for someone to come in to build and implement their own strategy and have the entrepreneurial spirit to shape the new Microsoft or Google of the world.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Create and implement a Marketing plan especially digital that supports the various business target audience groups including Premium publisher adoption of the platform
- Nurture existing publishing partnerships and develop partnership programme
- Develop relevant content targeting Small & Medium sized businesses around the globe
- Oversee social media presence and content initiatives
- Attend or support Events that drive subscriptions
- Oversee a search strategy
- Produce Creative content for the marketing strategy
- Support larger client pitches
- Build out a team especially freelance and chat to support subscriptions
**Ideal skills and experience**:
- 5 years PR and Marketing experience in a working environment
- 5 years digital and social media experience in a working environment
- A proven track record in implementing digital campaign plans that deliver results
- Google Search and Programmatic experience a bonus
- Outstanding English and a clear communicator
- Works well in a team but also comfortable using own initiative
- Resilient and able to function under pressure and deliver high standards under tight deadlines.
