**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Serves other workers (internal customers) and other division visitors with the proper degree of professionalism, courtesy, and compassion.
- Responds politely and quickly to questions from visitors and staff; reports issues or complaints when a speedy resolution is not possible and promptly follows up.
- Upholds cordial working relationships and pleasant interactions with guests and coworkers.
- In charge of enabling effective communication between visitors and employees both inside the hotel and outside.
- Operates paging systems, switchboard consoles, and related computer equipment with assurance and in compliance with departmental protocols.
- Makes polite, prompt, and accurate connections for both local and international calls.
- Accurately responds to wake-up calls, whether they are personalised or automatically scheduled.
- Demonstrates adeptness in all facets of emergency protocol. In the case of a significant incident or issue at the hotel, keep composed, aware, and effective while exercising professional discretion.
- Contributes to and upholds a professional workplace by minimising background chatter and other distractions that could be picked up by sensitive headsets.
**REQUIREMENT & SKILLS**:
- A hospitality certificate or diploma is useful.
- Outstanding communication abilities with others.
- Excellent communication both in writing and speaking.
- Excellent organising and time management abilities.
- Experience resolving conflicts.
- Patience as well as adept listening.
