**TECHNOLOGY LEAD**

**Founded in September 2020, Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital A Berhad, based in KLIA2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ADE leverages the AirAsia Group Engineering Department’s best practices and unsurpassed combined experience in the region. ADE offers a range of aircraft services focused on the Airbus A320, A321 & A330 for line maintenance services, component and warehouse services, and engineering support services.**

**Technology Leads at ADE work within our digital product development team to build innovative, secure and scalable digital solutions that are integrated with our large scale internal and external systems. This person is a trusted technology partner for business stakeholders and product managers in our team. We believe in the continuous pursuit of making things better and building a team passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.**

**What you will do**:

- **
- ** Mentor software engineers, and develop engineering solutions to solve complex problems**
- ** Execute strategies that allow for the team’s code to be analyzed, reviewed and pushed to the pipeline efficiently**
- ** Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle**
- ** Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members**
- ** Provide continuous feedback and recognize the individual strengths and contributions of your team members**
- ** Write clean, efficient code.**
- ** Drive the culture and execution of test driven development in projects assigned to you and other developers within the team**
- ** Discover and debug issues swiftly, refactor code as well as automate repetitive tasks**
- ** Practice security, performance and scalability as principles in the day-to-day decisions and contributions**
- ** Work closely with the Product Quality team to bring automated testing capabilities**
- ** Share and document knowledge as part of your workflow**
- ** Experiment and continuously explore new and emerging technologies and bring that perspective on how it can help the team**
- ** Research the current market for similar products and compare results**
- ** Be an awesome team member of the ADE Product Development team**

**Your experience and skills**:

- ** Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience**
- ** 8 - 15 years of relevant work experience in front-end and/or back-end development with working knowledge in **Javascript, CSS, HTML**
- ** Must be comfortable working with some popular frameworks such as ReactJs and NodeJs**
- ** Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.**
- ** Highly experienced in working with RESTful API or WebSockets.**
- ** Highly experienced in working with **Application Logging, Monitoring, Performance Management such as (Firebase App Analytics, Bugsnag)**
- ** Highly experienced **with CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Github, Jenkins)**
- ** Highly experienced **with performance testing and load testing tools.**
- ** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills.**

Qualifications and Competencies:

- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of related software engineering experience.
- Must be comfortable coding in at least one of the following: NodeJS, Java,, Python
- Have experience in CI/CD tools (Gitlab Pipelines, Travis)
