Assists in safety and quality culture and defining project scope, budget, developing project timelines, and ensuring successful execution of construction projects. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities pertaining to building and facilities construction projects. Interfaces directly with architect, design, consultant firms and construction general contractors through all project phases from feasibility study phase to programming and design completed with IFC issued, bidding to project closeout. Executes the contracting strategy, project scope, schedules, approval requirements, project budgets, quality and change controls, and timeline of project approval requirements. Reviews CSA, process, electrical, and mechanical designs associated with the construction of new sites or optimization of existing sites to ensure that the scope of work being designed is in alignment with the project scope baseline. Ensures that deviations to scope are properly vetted per change control and trend processes. Outlines construction site architecture, documents equipment requirements and conceptual designs, and maintains all other documentation related to project site. Records and reports key construction metrics to team members and management. Collaborates with teams to perform troubleshooting and rootcause failure analysis onsite. Develops project/program indicators to manage program health including quality and timelines. Communicates anomalies to senior team members by concisely stating the problem and specific impact to the project.
