**Responsibilities**:

- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the information security and IT risk management program within the department
- Work directly with the head of departments and risk coordinators to facilitate IT risk assessment and risk management processes, and work with stakeholders on identifying acceptable levels of residual risk.
- Provide regular risk reporting to Head of departments as part of a strategic risk management program
- Coordinate risk management initiatives with risk coordinators and IT resources.
- Follows up on risk findings and action plans to ensure completion by key stakeholders.
- Oversee thematic audit exercises, coordinating responses within the audit group participants, ensure respective projects are ready for the exercise

Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Degree in IT or other related fields, with 5-8 years relevant working experience.
- Professional Certification such as CISA/ CISM, CRISC or CISSP will be a plus.
- Experience in IT Audit or Technology Risk Management is an added advantage
- Analytical and objective - able to elaborate on, characterize, assess, and evaluate technology and tech-related risks dispassionately and rationally.
- An influencer and facilitator - able to build strong interpersonal relationships, and inform, guide and motivate managers and technologists to address risks with due care and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills - able to explain risks that are often complex and obscure to non-specialists, and (just as importantly) good at listening and sensitively interpreting others.
- A self-motivated leader - demonstrating a passion for and thought-leadership in this domain.
- Confident and trustworthy - keen to earn the respect and trust of, and inspire, others.
