**Customer Service**:
- Greet customers warmly and cultivate a friendly atmosphere.
- Assist customers with menu selections, special offers, and inquiries.
- Professionally handle customer concerns or complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
**Order Taking**:
- Accurately and efficiently take customer orders, ensuring clarity on preferences and modifications.
- Communicate orders promptly to the kitchen staff and verify order accuracy.
**Cash Handling**:
- Process customer transactions accurately, including handling cash and electronic payments.
- Provide customers with receipts and maintain an organized cash register.
**Coffee and Drink Preparation**:
- Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Craft innovative and signature drinks, contributing to the development of a dynamic and unique drinks menu.
- Experiment with flavors, presentation, and seasonal ingredients to keep the drinks menu fresh and appealing.
**Snack and Dessert Preparation**:
- Prepare and serve a selection of snacks and desserts in accordance with the cafe's menu.
- Ensure the quality, freshness, and presentation of snacks and desserts meet the cafe's standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the preparation and delivery of snack and dessert orders.
**Table Service**:
- Assist with seating customers and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Monitor tables for customer needs and promptly address any requests.
- Ensure tables are clean and set with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
**Up selling**:
- Suggest additional items, promotions, or newly created drinks and snacks to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
**Maintaining Front-of-House Area**:
- Keep the front-of-house area clean, tidy, and well-organized.
- Monitor and restock condiments, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
**Collaboration with Kitchen Staff**:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the kitchen regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions.
**Adherence to Policies**:
- Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
**Teamwork**:
- Collaborate with other front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
- Assist colleagues during peak times or with specific tasks as needed.
