To create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners aged 2 to 6, delivering the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum. The Early Years Teacher plays a vital role in supporting children’s early development and school readiness through engaging, play-based, and inquiry-led learning.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Teaching & Learning**

Ø Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge Early Years Framework.

Ø Facilitate play-based and inquiry-driven learning to support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Ø Create a safe, warm, and supportive classroom that fosters creativity, independence, and a love for learning.

Ø Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying learning styles and developmental levels.

Ø Integrate learning areas such as literacy, numeracy, creative expression, and personal development.

**Classroom Environment & Behaviour Management**

Ø Maintain a well-organized, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Ø Encourage positive behaviour and model respectful and caring interactions.

Ø Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.

**Assessment & Reporting**

Ø Conduct ongoing observational assessments to track children’s development.

Ø Provide regular feedback to parents through reports and parent-teacher meetings.

Ø Maintain accurate records of student progress and developmental milestones.

**Communication & Collaboration**

Ø Build strong partnerships with parents, valuing open communication and cultural sensitivity.

Ø Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leaders to support holistic student growth.

Ø Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

Ø A recognized Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

Ø Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in early childhood, preferably in an international or Cambridge curriculum setting.

Ø Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.

Ø Excellent spoken and written English.

Ø Passionate, patient, and culturally responsive educator.

Ø Experience in using observation-based assessment tools.

Ø Ability to integrate technology effectively in the classroom.

Ø Creative, flexible, and reflective teaching approach.

Ø Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
