- Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure purchased goods meet required quality standards.
- Addressing any quality issues with suppliers and coordinating returns or replacements if necessary.
- Staying informed about market trends, industry developments, and new suppliers.
- Conducting research to identify potential suppliers and products that align with the company's needs.
- Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities, orders, and communications with suppliers.
- Generating reports and summaries for management review.
- Ensuring that procurement processes adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Monitoring and addressing any potential conflicts of interest or unethical practices.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing best practices.
