**The Job**:
The position is responsible to assist in month end closing activities for general ledger closing and ensuring the timely completion and its accuracy of reports and finance operations activities.

**The Role**:

- Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining appropriate supporting documentation and ensure all accounting entries are properly recorded and reconciled time to time.
- Perform daily finance operations activities and support monthly account reconciliation and financial closing activities.
- Perform account payable and receivable transaction processing in accordance to the business procedure and ensure transactions processing are met based on the agreed deadline.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annually reporting package in accordance with local MFRS and local regulator requirement.
- Assist in other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

**The Person**:

- Possess a recognised Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Work experience in finance/ accounting/ insurance field will be an added advantage
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
